It's Kicking off in the city of Beautiful Horizon

As I write this I have just spoken to my journalist friend who has joined the protest in Belo Horizonte, his hometown, as a civilian. It’s just past 4pm over there and already he is hearing a lot of explosions likely from tear gas and rubber bullet guns.

62000 Brazil fans are inside the stadium supporting Brazil and many more are outside rooting for a far greater success for the country.

Let's hope that violence and destruction is not necessary for greater actions and more convincing promises to be made by government.
